The Social and Affective Neurodevelopment Team presented their work on puberty, hormones and the brain, at this year's University of Melbourne's Science Festival expo.
The University of Melbourne's annual Science Festival is hosted by the Faculty of Science as part of National Science Week. Now in its ninth year, the Festival showcases the latest in STEM research across the University's faculties, schools, institutes and centres.
In 2023, we explored the theme of “Collaboration-Innovation-Impact”, through public lectures and panel discussions, expert-led masterclasses, and an expo with interactive displays and hands-on activities. Led by the Faculty of Science, with contributions from the Faculty of Engineering and IT, the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Arts, our diverse events demonstrated how science crosses disciplines, and that through collaboration we can change the world for the better.
